TransCare Guide

About TransCare Guide:
Trans people deserve clear, reliable, and accessible medical information.
For many years, the trans community has had to search through scattered studies, unclear explanations, personal stories, medical uncertainty, and sometimes conflicting claims. Important questions about hormone therapy, surgeries, long-term outcomes, complications, satisfaction, fertility, voice care, and mental health are often difficult to answer in a way that is both evidence-based and understandable.
TransCare Guide was created in 2026 to help change that.
Our goal is to organize the existing medical and scientific knowledge about trans healthcare and make it easier to understand. We summarize research, explain what the evidence does and does not show, and help trans people make more informed decisions about their bodies, health, and future.
We are building a growing knowledge hub for the trans community, healthcare professionals, advocates, families, and anyone seeking accurate information about transgender health.
The site welcomes research summaries, articles, reviews, and educational writing from qualified contributors and careful community writers, under editorial standards designed to keep the information relevant, balanced, and as reliable as possible.
TransCare Guide is here to make trans healthcare clearer, safer, and more accessible.
Because better information can lead to better care.
